4 EverylyWell Health Tests To Check Out Now

If you are looking to be more proactive about your health, or, if you are looking to use up your 2021 FSA dollars, check out EverlyWell health screening tests. I will be sharing four suggestions for tests that I think most women can benefit from.

The company is running a Christmas sale at the moment, so now is a good time for you to check them out.

How it Works

EverlyWell sells several health testing kits that make it convenient for you to monitor certain aspects of your wellness right at home.

First, you’ll order your test on the company’s website (a few are available on Amazon and through other retailers). Your order will be reviewed by a board-certified doctor in your state. If approved, you’ll receive your testing kit in the mail within approximately 5 business days. Collect your samples and mail them to the lab indicated using the shipping label provided. The company will notify you via email when your test results are ready to view online.

The company uses Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)  (certified labs) to run the tests and uses different labs for different testing.

Read the test description carefully before buying to be sure you’re up for collecting the samples, as directed.

Still curious? Here are four tests that most women can benefit from.

Vitamin D Levels and Inflammation

The test checks two important levels that can affect your energy level and sleep. It tests your Vitamin D levels and your hs-CRP levels. Your body’s C-reactive protein (CRP) levels will tell you if there is significant inflammation in your body. Excessive inflammation has been linked to heart disease so monitoring this information can be very helpful.

Women’s Health Test

The women’s health test is a comprehensive hormonal test panel. It looks at 11 endocrine systems that can affect your wellbeing and menstrual cycle. The test measures your cortisol levels, luteinizing hormone, progesterone, DHEAS levels, TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone), and more. Checking your hormonal levels is a good idea if you’re experiencing unexplained fatigue or find it hard to lose weight.

Heart Health Test

According to the CDC, heart disease is the number one cause of death for women in the United States. This test measures your total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, hs-CRP, and HbA1c. If you have a family history of heart disease, if you’re inactive, overweight, or if your diet is high in Omega-6 foods, this is a good test for you to take. Not only does this panel measure your cholesterol and lipids, but it also includes other important biomarkers for evaluating heart disease and diabetes risk.

STD Test

This test checks for 7 sexually transmitted diseases-Hepatitis C, gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, Trich, HIV, and herpes.  If you get a positive result, you’ll be able to connect with their physician network to get more information.

The company also offers a membership plan where for $25 per month, you can monitor your health and wellness.
